How to get involved

There are many ways in which you can get involved in our work.

Join your practice participation group

GP practices have patient participation groups (PPGs) to provide an opportunity for patients to get more involved in their local practice and influence the way services are provided. Speak to your practice to find out how to join.

Join our Patient and Public Council

The purpose of the Patient and Public Council is to ensure the population served by the CCG have a voice in the planning and delivery of health services.

Membership includes Patient Participation Group (PPG) representatives from South Lincolnshire CCG member practices and other local health providers and organisations who attend to represent the views of patients and the public. If you would like to be considered to join the Patient and Public Council please call 01522 573 895 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. Join our Virtual Involvement Network

The CCG are continually developing and planning for the future. We value the input of patients and members of the public in the development and changes to local services and so our Virtual Involvement Network can offer you the opportunity to become involved from you own home.

By being a virtual network you do not need to attend meetings but can be on our stakeholder list for us to make contact when we need views and feedback.

Come along to one of our meetings held in public

Both our Governing Body and Primary Care Commissioning Committee are meetings held in public. You can submit questions in advance about anything on the agenda which will then be answered at the meeting. Questions about other items of business can be sent in and we publish responses on our website.

Get involved in your local Healthwatch

Healthwatch Lincolnshire is the independent consumer champion for health and social care in Lincolnshire, putting patients at the heart of health and social care services. Their role is to give local people a voice to influence and challenge how health and social care services are provided locally.

Lincolnshire Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP)

We are actively involving our local Maternity Voices Partnership in developing our work to ensure that the model of care is right or women and families. We are actively involving our local Maternity Voices Partnership in developing our work to ensure that the model of care is right or women and families.

Maternity Voices is a group where parents and parents-to-be can share their views and experiences with midwives and staff from the Local Maternity System.

Share your experiences of local services

By sharing your experiences of what has worked well and what has not, we can review these and put in place any improvements that might be needed.  All local providers of health services in Lincolnshire ask patients to share their experiences.  These are then reported back to the CCG to help us monitor satisfaction and quality.

Answer surveys

We often publish surveys about local services and the work we are doing. We make these available on our website. There are often national surveys as well about the development of NHS services.
