Representing Patient Views
PPG representatives who sit on the Patient and Public Council gather feedback, opinions and views from local patients and healthcare service users and present this back to the council meetings on behalf of patients registered at the CCG's 15 member practices.
"We greatly value our PPG’s and their involvement in our Patient and Public Council provides an opportunity for us to work in partnership in the development of quality health services. In addition to our PPG’s we will be encouraging other groups and individual members of the public to attend so that Patients and Public are truly and meaningfully involved."
Preston Keeling, Lay Member for Patient and Public Involvement and Chair of the Patient and Public Council
