Finances

We have been allocated a budget of £225 million to plan and buy health care services for people living in our area for 2016/17.

A detailed financial plan has been developed to invest in health services that are good value for money and provide the right care for our patients.

This plan outlines our duty to deliver Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention (QIPP) savings of £8.2 million and remain within our running cost allowance of £22 per head (£3.48m).

Our approach to financial planning:

• ensures our plans are realistic.
• includes partnership working with neighbouring commissioners to avoid duplication.
• means working closely with our main providers to source efficiency savings.
• includes shared financial risk agreements with Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).
