On 14 July 2015, NHS South Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group hosted the fifth Lincolnshire Listening Event in Spalding. It was attended by 52 people in total, 18 members of the public, 8 members of staff representing the CCG, and 26 organisational representatives.
The Listening events are held in turn by each of the four Lincolnshire CCGs* and are designed to enable patients to share their experiences directly with a range of health providers and commissioners. The stories shared are used by the Lincolnshire health community to inform improvements to the way services are delivered for patients.
The event began with a short presentation by Lynne Moody, Executive Nurse for NHS South Lincolnshire CCG. This was followed by facilitated group discussions where members of the public were given the opportunity to share their experiences with representatives from a range of local health and care organisations.

Thank you to all of the patients who came to share stories and for all stakeholders who helped to make the event a success.
