The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has rated the quality of care provided by the Gosberton Medical Centre, Spalding as ‘good’ following a recent inspection.
The practice which operates on Lowgate, Gosberton, provides primary medical care services to approximately 6,449 registered patients.
Inspectors found that the practice is providing high quality, safe, caring and effective care; meeting the needs of the population it serves. The CQC has published its full inspection report on its website (www.cqc.org.uk).
It highlights several areas of good practice, including:
The practice has systems in place to keep patients safe and safeguarded from abuse
Staff worked together to understand and meet the range and complexity of patients’ needs to assess and plan on-going care and treatment
Patients felt the practice offered an excellent service
Information about the services available was easy to understand and accessible
Practice staff reviewed the needs of its local population and made improvements where they were identified
Patients also said they were able to get an appointment when they needed one
