Lincolnshire CCGs remind patients to Know Their Kidneys

Thursday 14 March is World Kidney Day and local GPs are reminding people to know their kidneys. Around 850 million people worldwide are now estimated to have kidney diseases from various causes. Chronic kidney diseases (CKD) cause at least 2.4 million deaths per year and are now the sixth fastest growing cause of death.

CCGs Support Ovarian Cancer Month

Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month 2019

Lincolnshire CCGs are raising awareness of the symptoms associated with ovarian cancer during March, which is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. In females in the UK, ovarian cancer is the sixth most common cancer with around 7,400 new ovarian cancer cases in the UK every year, that's 20 every day (2013-2015).

Raynaud's Awareness Month

February is Raynaud's Awareness Month and South Lincolnshire CCG is helping to raise awareness and understanding of Raynaud's and why it is important that everyone knows the signs and symptoms. Raynaud's is a common condition affecting up to 10 million people in the UK. If you often have cold hands or feet, could you be living with this condition?
